Learning Matters: May 2024

This month, the Learning Lab team looks back on a decade of learning from the Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) Case Competition. USAID’s Chief Knowledge Management Officer, Dr. Stacey Young, reflected on the growth of the competition in a new blog: “ten years and 671 cases later, USAID staff, partners, and other folks continue to look to these cases to understand what CLA looks like in action and to find inspiration in their colleagues’ experience with applying CLA principles and processes.” The CLA case library showcases the work and lessons learned from USAID staff and implementing partners from around the world and across sectors.?

In addition to the case library, check out other resources from the past decade of CLA practice. Earlier this spring, USAID’s CLA practice area held a retrospective ‘Month & Learn’ on the development and use of maturity tools at USAID, including the creation of the CLA Maturity Tool. You can also peruse our podcasts, browse the CLA evidence collection, or go straight to the source (the CLA Toolkit) for guidance and templates.

One of the richest knowledge management portals that I have benefited from. I use it when planning training or writing CLA pieces.
