Learning to Livewell & Agewell

The awareness is becoming more and more apparent in today's world around all of us. There is a awakening going on about our overall health. We all see it and are hearing more about it, because it's real. I have been struggling my entire life with my weight. I was a pioneer in the gastric bypass surgery back in 1984 when I was just 21 years old. I lost all the weight (150 lbs) and kept it off for 25 years. I was a heavy smoker in the 80's & 90's as many of us were and although I quit during my pregnancy with my son...I ended up going back to cigarettes until I made the commitment in 2009 that I had enough! After I quit with strong determination on my own accord, I was then going through pre-menopause and I guess being a "foodie" as I like to call myself, the weight started to gain on me like wildfire.

I am sharing this with you all now because I have become a LinkedIn power-user with almost 20,000 followers and connections. I engage so many through my leadership role as a Career Coach and Business Owner of the top premiere Recruiting firms in the USA for dealerships, Dealerosity. I am taking advantage of my platform to reach as many people as I can to introduce my second business that, not only is very important to me for health reasons and where my head is today vs. just a mere 5 years ago. I became enlightened and/or educated in this arena and (STILL LEARNING!!!) about so many of these consumer product based companies that have been marketing to us over a lifetime, like baby powder/talc, bath & body products, makeup, skincare & lotions etc and discovering the TRUTH about the toxic chemicals we are putting into our bodies. Yes, nutrition is the first step in the right direction of getting healthy; however as a person of habit myself, diets and other regimens I have been on made me turn to surgery which is DRASTIC at an early age. Yet, here I was again facing the weight and food intake challenges again but now older and unable to lose it so quickly. I am learning more and more about eating clean, cleansing and detoxing our bodies. Not just from what we eat, but from the inside - out!

This second stream of income is more than a business to me! I have always been a person who values helping others. As a coach and influence in businesses over 4 decades, I am proud to say I have joined the most amazing business minded and successful community of people who are like minded as me. People who support other's success through sharing in a business that helps others make better choices today...now. To redirect their choices as we have...as I have to stop buying retail consumer products that do not care about the chemicals and toxins that can be damaging our health down the road. Major lawsuits are underway now with discovery of so many health conditions like cancer and autoimmune diseases.
