Uber has agreed a partnership with BYD, in order to bring 100,000+ electric vehicles to the ride-hailing platform. Uber drivers will receive accessible pricing and financing for BYD electric vehicles.

Chinese carmakers achieved a record 11% of the European electric vehicle market last month, ahead of the new EU tariffs which are coming into force on Chinese EVs.

Toyota Motor Corporation looks set to report another quarter of double digit growth this week, with the demand for hybrid vehicles a major factor.

Elon Musk has claimed Tesla will look to integrate AI into vehicles, with xAI's chatbot, Grok, set to be combined with Tesla software. This comes as he suggested that Tesla could invest $5 billion into xAI, also owned by Musk.
