???? The #1 most important skill you can acquire is "LEARNING TO LEARN" ????
Tons of people text or email me asking their doubts, how to do this, how to learn this, how to solve this question, how to debug etc. but mostly my answer to them is just a single link to corresponding stackoverflow solution, or a medium article or some other resource ??
But Why? ??
In my mission to make the youth well versed with programming, I don't want to end up making them unable to solve problems by themselves. That's the difference between a mentor and teacher ????
A teacher takes a student to his goal holding his hands, whereas a mentor or a coach just shows the correct direction, walking on that path is up to the mentee! Just imagine the amount of learning a student can acquire when he/she is not spoon fed, when he/she has to walk in the suggested direction on his own with the advises given by the mentor. This way a student not only will learn how to solve the problem, but he/she will also learn
?? How to think
?? How to act when problems are there above your head waiting to kill you
?? How to find the most feasible solution to any problem
?? How to make full use of resources in hand
?? and most importantly, LEARNING how to LEARN and how to grow ????
And never forget, a teacher might not always be there for you, but the directions given by a mentor will always guide you ??
Here are some useful resources for devs ??
?? StackOverflow for coding doubts
?? GitHub, a perfect code community
?? Official Documentations, for any technologies you are trying to learn
?? Reddit, to stay up to date
?? Medium, to learn and share your learnings
?? YouTube, in case you are a video tutorial dev
?? Udemy, Coursera, Udacity etc. These sites are helping devs learn new technologies in an excellent way ????
So, next time try learning to learn, try googling your questions, of course Google is much wider than my knowloedge ??
