My Ongoing Internship at Ericsson!

During my Fall 2024 semester at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas , I’ve had the privilege of continuing my internship with 爱立信 , a global leader renowned for its technological innovation and impact. As an ASIC Validation Intern with the Austin ASIC Validation team, this experience has been defined by opportunities of professional growth and learning.?

This Fall, I worked extensively on analyzing massive log files, building an ML/NLP tool to identify and categorize errors from syslogs and logs. This project enabled pattern recognition and correlation of system crashes, improving debugging efficiency and hardware fault detection. I also gained hands-on experience developing predictive models and uncovering actionable insights from large datasets, helping Ericsson streamline ASIC validation efforts. These projects allowed me to expand my expertise in Python, data analytics, machine learning, and NLP, while deepening my knowledge of the semiconductor and telecommunications industries.

One particularly memorable moment was presenting my project to upper management and receiving feedback on how the tools I developed could be leveraged in broader applications. The acknowledgment of my work, combined with the insights shared by mentors and peers, was incredibly rewarding. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do. Knowing that my contributions made a difference is incredibly motivating and fuels my passion to keep pushing forward. It's not just about our work, but the support and recognition from our peers that truly makes the journey worthwhile.?

As I wrap up this summary, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my amazing manager, Kristy Cates , whose guidance and encouragement made this the best experience I could have asked for. I am immensely grateful for the mentorship and support provided by Shane P. , Vikram Meka and Arti Gurunathan . Their guidance and encouragement have made this internship a transformative experience, shaping my professional journey and inspiring me to tackle complex challenges with confidence.

Reflecting on this journey, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunities I’ve been given to learn, grow, and contribute to impactful projects. This internship has not only strengthened my technical expertise but has also shown me the importance of collaboration, mentorship, and a supportive workplace culture in driving innovation.

One of the most memorable moments of my internship was celebrating Diwali with my amazing team at the office. Sharing the joy, culture, and festive spirit with colleagues made the experience truly special and brought us closer as a team. Also , representing 爱立信 at The University of Texas at Dallas ’s career fair alongside Tonya D. was equally rewarding, as I mentored students, reviewed resumes, and shared insights to help them navigate their career journeys. Grateful for the opportunity to give back and represent Ericsson in such meaningful ways.
