Learning from the Movies : The Theory of Everything

“The Theory of Everything” is a biopic about one of the most brilliant people in the history of the planet, the renowned astrophysicist?Stephen Hawking . His story is inspiring – the way he’s battled motor neuron disease over more than 50 years and defied the odds not only to survive, but thrive is inspiring. Hawking discovered his theory for mathematics and black holes, but he also discovered that the universe has no boundaries.?Everything seems possible in life. Where there is life, there is hope.

This movie has many lessons for us. The importance of having an open mind, the rewards for never giving up, how the universe has no boundaries, looking at things from different perspectives etc. But the most important takeaway for me is the "Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving Skills."

Stephen Hawkins was a?genius &?the?explorer of?the?universe. While watching this movie, I was amazed to see his ability to identify, analyze & tackle problems systematically to generate logical alternatives. The dimensions of Problem finding, problem shaping, analysis of findings, generating alternatives and taking appropriate action.

As Albert Einstein said, "Our problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them." I learnt Stephen's logical & disciplined methods of problem solving by going to the next level of Analytical Thinking.Overall, in this movie, Hawking's brilliant?mind?comes to life in thoughtful drama. A must watch movie for all.
