Learning from Japanese Millionaire Author Ken Honda

I recently had the pleasure of meeting bestselling author and "Zen Millionaire" Ken Honda .

His incredible story of selling close to 9 million copies of his book Happy Money, all without paid advertising, was truly inspiring.

In a nutshell, here's what he did:

1. He wrote the book and printed 3,000 copies, intending to give them away to friends and contacts.

2. His network loved the book and kept asking for more copies to share.

3. He ended up with a living room full of books and an ultimatum from his wife to get rid of them!

4. As he generously handed out free copies, speaking invitations and publishing offers started pouring in.

5. With no paid marketing, he sold close to 9 million copies and became a hugely successful author.

Ken credits this success to the principle of "arigato" - the Japanese word for gratitude.

By giving freely and abundantly to others, with no expectation of reward, he believes we attract even more abundance back to us.
