One day, the caterpillar stops eating, hangs upside down from a twig or leaf and spins itself a silky cocoon or melts into a shiny chrysalis. Within its protective casing, the caterpillar radically transforms its body, eventually emerging as a butterfly or moth. Within the chrysalis the old body parts of the caterpillar are undergoing a remarkable transformation, called 'metamorphosis,' to become the beautiful parts that make up the butterfly that will emerge. In just 9 to 14 days the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly is complete. Through the chrysalis, the day before the adult emerges, you can see the orange and black wings of the Monarch butterfly inside, it is such a lovely picture of nature's metamorphosis.
In order to be able to become a butterfly, the caterpillar has to fall apart completely, decompose down to its very essence, devoid of any shape or consciousness. It literally dies. There is nothing left of it. And from this liquid essence, the butterfly starts to put itself together, from scratch, coming completely out of its comfort zone and sacrificing itself except for the liquid essence it oozes out, the caterpillar is no more existing but because it has the dream of converting into something more beautiful through a difficult phase of cocoon into a flying as butterfly it goes through severe bodily pain but his soul is intact and strong enough to take on the growth into a beautiful colourful entity, for which he suffers for 14 days of his life, just to give birth to a butterfly which also has such a short life.
We also need to learn from this picture of metamorphosis of nature when we see the frogs coming out. The process in which a tadpole turns into a frog is an amazing transformation. Let us not forget that any transformation into a better entity involves several processes and the final stage is only the evolution from the primary stage of egg, larvae, pupae. Each stage we need to work out of our own comfort zone and try to reach the final stage with great patience and perseverance.
Martin Luther King, Jr. had said "Worse, at this point in your life, when you are posed with an opportunity, you'll begin to pull back (often unconsciously) for fear of losing access to your bubble of comfort". Martin Luther King, Jr. put it perfectly: “You may be 38 years old, as I happen to be" but it is never too late to take on challenges of life and go ahead with courage.
Take life as a challenge and go on taking steps after steps. Take the first step. All you need to do is to take the first step and as you put yourself in a new environment, don't pick the safer choice of comfort, take a different route home and be prepared to make a snap decision, often consider other's points of view and learn to say "yes" more often and when you decide to volunteer when asked to do something new, you should be the first one to raise the hand.
Come out of your comfort zone and go ahead with the transformation. Have the vision to succeed and don't give your paint brush to anyone, but paint your own route of progress, always have faith that the beauty comes after spending time in darkness and the most difficult phase of getting your wings is when you are in 'isolation' phase, Always stay focused on your own inner beauty and have confidence when given wings you can fly....Stay blessed! #kishoreshintre
