Learning from blood in the streets - literally

Learning from blood in the streets - literally

Have you ever failed?

At anything?

Silly question, right?

One of my failures caused a crash, blood everywhere and required stitches.

I still have the scar on my forehead above my right eye to prove it.

But the lesson I learned from that incident has provided me with a life of wealth that some other lessons haven’t.

I was six years old and riding my bike in front of our house on Chesterfield Ave.

I was a relative beginner so this was really “practicing” to ride my bike along the roadside.

Over my left shoulder, I noticed a car coming so although I wanted to make a U-turn to head back toward my house, I couldn’t.

I needed to wait until the car had passed and was in unfamiliar territory. (You ever experienced that?)

When eventually I was at the apex of my U-turn, I hit a patch of loose sand.

My tires lost their grip and the bike went sideways. I went down and gave my head a direct hit on the pavement.

I don’t remember if I cried, but being six, I think the likelihood is that I did.

As a lay on the roadway bleeding and attempting to gather my thoughts as to what to do next, there was a very nice, well dressed man and woman walking by. The man in a suit and the woman in a white dress with white gloves.

They rushed over to come to my aid.

The woman, scooped me off the pavement, while the gentleman picked my bike off the road. They asked where I lived and I pointed to my home about a half a block away.

My Mom was working so the sitter came to the door. Of course, she was horrified by what happened to me.

As the sitter thanked the couple for attending to me, I remember looking back and seeing the woman’s white dress covered in my blood. Additionally, she had used her while gloves to cover my wound as she carried me home.

I was rushed to hospital and received a whopping two stitches over my eye.

The couple’s valor has stuck with me even to this day.

But there’s more to this story than a lesson of valor.

However, that’s one that I’ve learned. I try to do my best to help others whenever I find the opportunity to do so.

The other lesson is about not giving up just because you’ve failed.

Later, I got back on my bike and learned to ride as proficiently as most kids do.

And this fall, I’m even cycling the 122km GranFondo event from downtown Vancouver to Whistler, BC. (You can look it up, it’s quite a ride.)

But here’s the point…

Just because you may have tried to do something online before and haven’t had it work out as you would have liked, doesn’t mean you should quit.

The online world is fraught with traps and tricks that can make success tough.

That is unless you have the right training.

And my friend, who goes by the online name of Zeno, is the mastermind behind what I believe to be the best Affiliate Marketing training available anywhere.

He’s also offering, for a very limited time, a FREE three-video series that you really should check out if you have any interest in making money online.

You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

So, get back on your bike and heal your scars with some great training here: https://goo.gl/aUFULS
