Patsol Corp. invites for Nurturing Young Minds.

I feel compelled to share the young mind set of these brothers and how the inborn talent and the hunger for a better life is helping them to get ahead in their professional life.

Patsol invites for Nurturing Young Minds. Read the post to know more....there is a hidden message in the post. Do you understand the Apple of Knowledge and how it can benefit you ?

This is a short biography of two unidentical twins, incidentally with whom I happened to interact on my new office site yesterday on Mayday 2017. He is the site engineer of the builder company.

We take life for granted and work as the life comes to us but for these brothers, let us call them Sunil & Anil, have reached what they are today by handling the challenges from the young age of 9 in a remote village in Maharashtra near Shirdi. India.

The biography is brief and focuses mainly on the take away from this persons experiences and the way he has handled his progressive life :

1)     Economic background – Poor, father is a farmer who works on his parched land due to drought or takes up jobs working on other farms to make the ends meet. House is made of thatched roof. A family of 5 (2 brother, 1 sister & parents) stay in a 300 sq ft house. Their second source of income is selling cow milk (4 cows) to the village centers.

2)     Case 1 (IDENTIFY ANOMOLY and OPPORTUNITY FOR INCREASING SALES) – Sunil at the age of 9 in Class V, he used to accompany his mother to the Milk selling center at the village. His young mind observed that any excess quantity of milk which was not a multiple of half liter was not being paid. That is if the milk being sold is 4 liters and 400 ml then, 400 ml were not being paid for by the buying center. This was not digested by this 9 years old Sunil and he told his mother that he will help her by doing this daily chore of selling the milk.

3)     Case 2 – (REDUCING WASTAGE) – So, Sunil’s mother was happy to be relieved from the daily chores of selling the milk and Sunil was happier for being given the opportunity to sell the milk all by himself. Actually there was more in his mind at this stage for that extra milk being given free. He decided to sell only a multiple of the half liter and take the rest back (with some plan in at the back of his mind).

4)     Case 3 – (TAPPING OPPORTUNITIES) – He had observed earlier when he used to return from school that there were some sugarcane traders who used to regularly visit their village every day to sell their produce. He also had noticed that there was a tea stall nearby who used to cater to the needs to (chaha) tea to the traders. Sunil has over heard the tea stall owner buying milk from the village milk center for his needs.

5)     Case 4 – (CONVERTING WASTE INTO MONEY) – So it struck to Sunil on his way back from School that this need of milk can be satisfied by providing door service to the tea stall owner. That is how the 400 ml of milk was used to generate more money which was being lost at the Village Milk Center.

6)     Case 5 – (MAKING REALISABLE PROFITS) – Now that he could connect with the gap, he decided to sell his milk not as 400 ml but as a cup of milk of 50 ml at a much higher profit margin than the rate at which it was being sold at the village center.

7)     Case 6 – (MULTITASKING & INDEPENDENT) - He used to do this before going to school, to earn this extra “pocket money “. All this while his family had no inkling about this. Not even his brother Anil.

8)     Case 7 – (INNOVATIVE) - He secretly saved these collection in the cow shed in a container with a slot on top. This container was dug in the ground so that only the lid was visible. He covered it with hay.

9)     Case 8 – (OBSERVATION & DRIVE) - While narrating all this his eyes brightened up suddenly when he told me that as the days passed by, the clinking noise of the coins dropping reduced.(as the coin collection increased)

10)  Case 9 – (REALISATION OF POTENTIAL) – One day Sunil’s parents decided to clean the cow shed. It was about 1.5 months from the day he started selling the milk to the tea stall owner. On finding the secretly hidden box, his parents hugged him silently. His mother said, that she knew all along that he was getting money from somewhere but had the trust that it was from good work by his son (without even knowing what he was actually doing). Sunil asked her how she knew and why she did not tell any one ? She replied that the clinking of the coin every day at a certain time in the day in the morning gave away what he was doing. She mention that the trust & true belief in her son made he keep mum.

The collection was opened on that day, spread out on the floor, each the 5 members started counting the coins. Father collecting and counting the Inr 5 coins, Mother counting the Inr 2 coins and so on till all were accounted for. The total sum collected was precisely Inr 1752 in matter of 45 days by a young man of 9 years old. The sum may be meager for many but looking through it all from another perspective, it is a learning that I will never forget.

11)  Case 10 – (REINVESTING THE PROFITS) – He realized that this money was to be reinvested into another sustainable income as he also observed that the sugarcane trading only happens at a certain times of the years. Even though the tea stall may continue but the customer foot fall will be cyclic.

All this by a 9 year old. I am fascinated with this person. This is not the only incident. There are series of them , month after month, year after year till now that he narrated to me yesterday. It will need pages and pages to pen down.

I wish to invite suitable publishers who would be able to convert his interview into a learning book in a simplistic way. He is available in Baner, Pune, MH, India.

He is not aware that I have been positively influnced by his life.

He is 26 now.

There are times when we try to help someone improve their lives but end up the other way around.
