Job Description
CSG is looking for a Manager - Learning and Development (L&D) to help our employees advance their skills and knowledge. In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow. Excellent communication skills are essential. If you also have experience designing e-learning courses and managing budgets, we’d like to talk to you. Ultimately, you will help our company succeed by training and developing its people.
Set up learning and development ecosystem to prepare the project and Engineering teams for their current roles and build the next level of competence. Conceptualize to be delivered through a combination of in-person and distance learning offerings (e-learning and virtual classrooms).
The role is expected to support the planning, preparation, and execution of various L&D programs and campaigns, including calendar scheduling, program hosting, material preparation, and program and cost analysis.
The duties of this role will change in the same way but initial allocations and focus of the role are likely to be as follows:
· Creating, modifying, customizing and maintaining content with the aim of achieving business goals
· Conceptualize and design behavioural programs across levels of employees, leadership building by calendarizing regular soft-skills sessions and management trainings
· Work with line Managers across the team to determine areas of focus, gaps and upskilling and reskilling areas required by the business teams. Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
· Implement and suggest effective L&D communication plan and strategy to manage participants lifecycle (registration, cancelation, logistics and database management)
· When required, be prepared to host virtual sessions from opening the sessions, welcoming the participants, introducing the presenters, and final closing. - Facilitation skills
· Manage and own the learning management system, its usage, reporting and maximize user learning
· Design and structure e-learning courses, career plans, workshops
· Competency framework & implementation
· Vendor Management & Learning budget, Track budgets and negotiate contracts
· Training related dashboards and MIS
· Assess the impact of training on employee performance
· Liaise with external partners as needed for technical trainings
· Gather feedback from trainees and trainers after each session
You Bring (Experience and Expertise)
· Proven experience as an L&D Trainer, Training Manager or similar
· Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
· Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
· Experience in project management and budgeting
· Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
· Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
· Hands-on experience organizing corporate training events
· Proven work experience as a Training Consultant, Training Coordinator or similar role
· Knowledge of traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
· Understanding of Talent Management and succession planning is a big advantage Excellent communication skills
· MBA in HR or certification in Training or a related field
· 8 to 10 Years of experience in a people function, curating, conceptualizing and transforming with the learning strategy
