Learning to code with Code Nation - Week 3

Coding has felt as though it was secondary for the most part this week. We've tested alternate methods of learning for what seems like an inevitable situation ahead. Nevertheless, this week we explored how CSS can be used for animation & the overall design of a webpage.
The basics of HTML/CSS
We began with the fundamentals of CSS & how to connect CSS to a HTML document in VSCode. The first challenge involved replicating a website design from a pdf document using CSS, with the HTML already completed for us. A difficult task but one that tested the understanding of HTML & CSS and gave us the opportunity to work things out independently.
We also covered animations within CSS and created a landing page with 4 buttons and a spinning logo, definitely challenging but come 17:30 on Friday, unbelievably rewarding.

Next Week
Next week we turn our attention back on JavaScript & DOM with a focus on how JavaScript can be connected within HTML. We will also be creating a snake remake game solely in JS & hosting talks by myself & 2 other students in cohort 13!
