This weekend's movie mania - was dedicated to rewatch of "Kung Fu Panda". For those who haven't watched it (particularly adults!) .. my daughter and I would highly recommend. I mean how could one miss a story line of an adorable panda (the unassuming, black and white, plump, cuddly, ever eating, lazy creatures!) becoming a Kungfu fighting warrior. Sharing a video snippet that, to my mind is the turning point not just for this movie but also sets the premise for the following sequels of the movie series -
The journey of an ordinary panda, unaware of his beginnings to realize and fulfill his destiny! However it is not just the Panda's story. Not many would realize that it is the Master's life journey as well - transformation of his beliefs that makes him, NOT accidentally, the best teacher and master!
There are two dimensions of learnings from this - as a student and as a teacher. Across all moments of our lives, the two paradigms exist for us always. Does not matter if we are highly experienced or not or whether people leaders or not. We are forever leading by example and influencing minds - that makes us all potential teachers even when students! What is important is:

1. There is need for deliberate practice to LEARN! It starts with CURIOSITY. Can we imagine a baby - NOT CURIOUS? Or a Child - UNIMAGINATIVE? Considering all of us were once Babies and children, it makes me wonder; at what juncture of life do we stop being Curious that is, if we do? The only plausible response I feel is when we stop to Believe! - Reason for learning!
2. There is a CAVEAT too :- do not let beliefs get so ingrained that they become a Quicksand trap to suck you in! Often we potentially can get carried away in all that deliberate practice to get attached to an idea and repeated action that brings in desired results for us to profess that idea and action as the only truth. Watch out for this trap!
3. Keep your beliefs like plain simple WATER - essential to life and its continuity; found in abundance and various forms and most importantly - a universal solvent; as when we believe in something, we are not alone! There is possibility of a shared belief to emerge as we work together in teams, workgroups and community at large.?
