Learning with AI in the Flow of Work [Part 2]
This week is kind of a mirror of last week, in that I am presenting the same type of session, on Learning with AI, but in a new location, with a new story. I am iterating the ideas.
To do so is a balance: it went pretty well last week, so the temptation is to repeat the session as it was, but I rarely do that. My own learning, in a principle of #WorkingOutLoud, is held with a certain tension, and part of that tension is to avoid becoming too certain or comfortable.
I want to evolve the work, as I am pretty sure that there is a clear and simple story to be found within what is currently a somewhat convoluted narrative. In fact, I think the simple story is there, I just need to be unafraid to tell it.
Often when I am uncertain, I notice that I lay down layers of complexity, seeking to ensure credibility by ‘diving deep’. I worry that the simple story will be judged as too simple.
So that’s my challenge for the next couple of days – to continue to rehearse and rework the material, which will include drawing some new illustrations, and preparing to share it on Thursday.
I have also been creating a video series around this work, as part of my rehearsal, which you can find the playlist here .
