Learn to unlearn, unlearn, learn anew

That was a strange and difficult, at first, exercise when I consciously decided to do it on some subjects as a tryout. Being aware that I needed to scrap, erase all about the subject was a weird feeling, but HOW? It took time for me to understand just the concept of it. How do you unlearn what you already know... Then realizing that to be aware that unlearning makes me want to learn more, was an AH-HA moment.
So, my son thought me! Here is our conversation, "his way":
Me: Go ahead you can do it! are you tired?
Him: Stop pushing me mummy, am trying!
Me: Oh sorry, how can I help you?
Him: I can't progress today so let me start from scratch again BY MYSELF!
Wow, I sat down and I couldn't believe the lesson of unlearning I just received. Exactly what I was looking for.
That is the base of continuous improvement.
