Would life be simpler if you could teach your own Manual Handling training? Milne Safety are running a 2 day Manual Handling Instructor course at our premises in Wymondham on 8th & 9th May 2018. You do not need to have any previous Instructor or teacher training qualifications and are able teach as soon as you have your certificate of competency, which is recognised by the HSE.
Manual Handling injuries are very often RIDDOR cases due to the nature of the injuries. Putting your back, hip or shoulder out, or falling/tripping whilst carrying a load can often means several weeks or months off work. Not only will this put your company on the HSE radar but can also cost you thousands. Manual Handling injuries costs the UK millions of pounds every year.
