This is a very short report and straight to the point. But, today I'm gonna walk you through one of the most important LinkedIn SSI ranking factors that related to the " Audience interaction and Engagement". Let me brief you on how can you can improve it organically without paying anything extra to get a boost from the LinkedIn sales navigator.
Disclaimer: Tobehonest, I really don't bother about those LinkedIn SSI ( profile, network,engagement, relationship) score! because those ranking factors depends on your purpose, the way you use and interact with LinkedIn.

When it comes linkedIn, Engagement is a crucial algorithmic ranking factor for the newsfeed virality. Unlike, Facebook and Instagram machine learning algorithms; here LinkedIn is using totally different ranking, filtering, optimization factors in order to push any content through the newsfeed. How to Improve your LinkedIn SSI " Engage with Insight " Score?
LinkedIn Social Selling Index ( SSI ) isn't only for the sales marketers who are using the sales navigator! It's just a beacon where you can see overall performance such as personal brand building improvements, quality of your audience, activities, and overall engagements. Actually, I wrote these tips on how to improve your SSI 3rd ranking factor, which is " Engage with Insights". Before you jump into the checklist, please make sure you have already completed the following "FIVE" important steps.
- Have a very strong LinkedIn profile based on your long term vision.
- You're building meaningful connections that related to your industry and passion.
- You're frequently publishing updates and engaging with your audience promptly.
- You're not sending any blank connection requests or spamming inbox with offers.
- You're not promoting or selling, but influencing the audience through your actions.
If you've passed above five checklists, then it's time to build diverse connections on your LinkedIn profile. Let me share with you a very active, quality LinkedIn group where you can join, share, interact, learn, influence and monetize based on your needs and wants.
Actually, I've spent quality time to analyze and compile most active, spam free LinkedIn groups where you can join without spending hours searching. Have a quick look at this " 25 Active LinkedIn Groups "post. I've listed out the groups based on the industry and relevancy. Simply select the related category and start sending join requests. Normally the moderator approval will take a maximum of 72 hours to get it approved. Once you've joined the group, follow these tips in order to build your loyal audience.
Visit Group > select your preferred group > Click on "See all " link from right from the top > here you will see all the members who joined this group ( This is where you can start creating connections)
LinkedIn basic etiquette to maximize your effort.
- Of course, you have an option to send a message via a group view section, but please DON'T, I repeat "DONT' DO that for now. It will consider as an unsolicited direct message unless you have already connected or sending the message using InMmail.
- Do not post any promotional, product advertisement, or any links on the group unless someone requested with a valid reason. The LinkedIn group is a place to discuss, learn, influence from each other.
- Do not spam the group with responding low quality, irrelevant replies that may outrank your online reputation from an audience perspective! Be specific about your post updates.
- When it comes to your target audience, always focus on relevancy and quality rather than a number of connections. when it comes to social media and networking it's all about " how many people know you, NOT how many people you know ". (a wise word from Amit Kalantri - Wealth of Words)
- If you are really serious about LinkedIn, always allocate a very specific time schedule to engage with the newsfeed, group, InMail, company pages, influencers, jobs, etc. Engaging isn't about just publishing your content and forgot it! but, also interacting with your audience, group, and company pages effectively.
- Remember, Less is more! When it comes to content creation and publishing, Think from your audience's empathetic perspective.

4 年Thanks for tagging me Sharanyan Sharma -- I keep hearing that LinkedIn has plans on removing the SSI. I still have it but it's tucked in deep now. I'll tell you this, I rarely check mine.
