When I started promoting my business on social media, I was so exhausted, because I invested hours upon hours of work to schedule and publish all of my posts to the bunch of channels.  I was wondering if there is an easier way to do that, and then I found out about Buffer.

From that moment on, my business started to grow much faster, and my posts were all over the place in an instant.  Yes, I am using Buffer, and I couldn’t be happier!  Today, my posts reach 220,000 people every week through different social media channels, and here I am going to show you how you can do it too!

WHAT IS BUFFER?

In the last two lessons we were talking about Social Media Integration, with Buffer being one of the most powerful tools for smarter sharing!  Nowadays, we have lots of available tools to help you improve your presence across a whole bunch of networks, however, Buffer is something I strongly recommend.

Buffer can easily help you spread your posts across desired social media profiles, at desired time and date, without need to be by the computer all the time, in order to have a social media presence.

In this step-by-step teaching, I am going to show you how to set up profiles, how to use, and how to get the most out of Buffer.  So, let’s get to work!

Setting up profiles

Go to https://buffer.com/ and sign in.  Choose one of four available options:

If you already have an account, like I do, just hit the Login button and on the next page fill in your email and password details.

This is how my Dashboard looks like:

Before you even start working with Buffer you should know that there are different plans you can check out and choose the best one that suits your needs.

Here you can find out what are major differences and advantages of each plan.  I am using the Awesome Plan, it costs only 10$ per month and allows you to connect 10 social media accounts with 100 posts per each!

As you can see, I have 4 profiles (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+), 1 Facebook page and 1 Facebook group connected with Buffer so far.  So, I can connect 4 more profiles on Awesome plan!

If you wish to connect a new account just click the Connect More icon and choose the account.

You may notice that my Pinterest account is not yet connected with Buffer, so let’s do it now.

To connect your Pinterest profile, hit the Connect More in the left sidebar of your dashboard and the Connect button under the Pinterest heading.

The authorization screen will open. Now, click onto “Authorize App” button and you’ll be redirected to the Buffer dashboard to start pinning!
