Positivity Makes You Healthy and Successful
"Keeping a positive mindset is easier said than done."
We often hear about seeing the glass as half full rather than half empty, but maintaining that perspective requires practice.
Adjusting your outlook to focus on the positive can significantly enhance your performance.
"Identify a positive."
When you find yourself stuck in a cycle of self-defeating negative thoughts, it's essential to train your brain to focus on the positive.
Start by selecting something positive to think about—replace or reframe those negative thoughts.
During good times, this may be relatively easy.
But when challenges arise, and your mind is flooded with negativity, finding even one positive thing that happened during the day can be a game-changer.
Reflect on the previous day or week if needed, or focus on an upcoming event you're looking forward to.
The key is to have something positive ready to shift your attention to when negativity strikes.
"Retrain your brain for positivity."
Once you have identified a positive thought, direct your attention to it each time negative thoughts creep in.
If this proves difficult, try writing down the negative thoughts to discredit their validity, then allow yourself to freely enjoy positive thoughts.
This simple yet powerful practice can retrain your brain to maintain a positive focus.
Given the mind’s natural tendency to wander toward negativity, we can all benefit from a little help in staying positive.
By embracing these positivity steps, you'll reap the health, mental, and performance benefits that come with a positive mindset.
"Put positivity into practice and watch your life transform."

4 个月Dr Timothy Low ,PBM, Top Hospital Sales Voice in Singapore I have the opportunity to be facing 1) adversities in abundance (so lucky) and 2) teaching special-needs teenagers on a private basis, in mainstream Secondary Schools. Especially when I was teaching these so-called difficult-to-teach teenagers, when I finally gained strong rapport with them, I found that they're Not really 'stupid' as most of the Senior teachers would tell me. This is the start of my strong belief that everyone has their positives and usually they have hidden ones, real potential to do marvelous things in life, you never know. However, sad to say, due to self-fulfilling prophecy, they grow up only knowing they are abnormal and stupid. They then don't achieve any great breakthrough with their specific talent, whether in plumbing, electrical works, artistic or composing music, or dance, etc. And they grow old and gone. I saw an elderly woman who was illiterate and was hawking her hand-made (from discarded cans) beautiful decorative pieces that you don't see anywhere in the world. So exquisitely done! Real expert!
