It will start with setting up your PC for development using Cloudera Quickstart VM, Eclipse with Maven plugin, then get you into the world of application development using Java based Hadoop Map Reduce API and ends with Building Enterprise Data Warehouse using Hadoop eco system (Hive and Sqoop). It also covers plain vanilla hadoop in case you do not have laptop with latest configuration. You will learn

* Setting up your PC for Hadoop application development

* Develop map reduce application using Java. Play list several map reduce applications with most of the features such as combiners, comparators, partitioners, counters, compression etc.

* It talks about the strategies to filter, aggregate and sort data effectively leveraging map reduce features

* EDW playlist talks about details pertaining to data modeling, data integration and ETL leveraging Hadoop features and working around the limitations.

* Last playlist covers how to set up single node VM with plain vanilla hadoop, in case you do not have powerful PC with latest configuration.
