Learn from (don't repeat) mistakes

Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly.

Mistakes happen and bad habits are formed. This is not a problem if we learn from our mistakes, take other's Godly advice and grow. It's when we become stubborn and allow pride to win that we lose to sin and become the fool. If we really want to play the part of the fool, we'll justify our actions, seek approval by the worlds standards and repeat the newly justified actions that diminish God's commands and compound sin. We need to stop the cycle. Identify the actions that go against God, seek support from Godly accountability partners and stop returning to your 'vomit'! Learn from (stop repeating) mistakes and have a blessed day!
