Learn, Do, Be Accountable
When you start or join a new business there are three important things to remember:
Learn. This is a brand new profession for you, so you are going to have to learn a new set of communication skills.
Do. Learning without doing doesn’t amount to anything. You can’t learn to ride a bike just by watching a webinar. You have to get on the bike and take a few falls before you can become proficient. Likewise, you have to put yourself out there if you want to get new customers and team members.
Hold yourself accountable. If you don’t report to someone it’s easy to do nothing. Make sure you report to your sponsor, a team member or even your spouse. When you feel demotivated having to report to someone will force you to take action.
