Hey Dashing People,?

It's the People Team here with a special takeover! ?? We recently held a Roles & Responsibilities Workshop in late September, where we gathered at Startup Sauna to dive into our roles, reflect on our contributions, and learn from each other. It was all about understanding how we can better collaborate and support each other as a team.??

?Why We Did This??

At Dash, we believe that clear roles and responsibilities help everyone work with purpose and alignment. This workshop gave us the chance to pause and think about how our roles fit into the bigger picture—and where we can grow.

Workshop Highlights??

?? Reflection: We started with a quick individual reflection on what our roles are all about.??

?? Team Brainstorm: Teams then discussed their roles, shared insights, and added fresh ideas to improve how we collaborate.??

?? Presentation & Feedback: We wrapped up by sharing each team’s role descriptions, gathering input from others, and discovering new ways to work together.

People Team Reflections

- Edi (Head of People): "The most important part was reflecting on whether we’re meeting our role expectations. It’s easy to get caught up in day-to-day tasks, so taking time to pause and think critically was so valuable."

- Vee (Volunteer Coordinator): "The brainstorming session was a standout for me. Hearing everyone’s ideas helped me understand how we can keep improving our roles. Plus, learning about other teams' work was a bonus!"??
