Learn to Appreciate
Thank you! Well done! Amazing! Remarkable! Outstanding! Beautiful! Good job! Congratulations! Bravo!
How often we use these words in our day today life? What is the purpose? Why do we say such kind words? How do we express them? Do we really need to learn to appreciate?
In the corporate world we receive training on email etiquette, corporate behavior, globalization, team building, work ethics, leadership, generation transformation etc. All these training modules are to improve professionals to work in harmony with each other. When we are working in groups, as team we learn many social skills and gratitude is one of them. This triggers why learn to appreciate each other is very important practice to be followed in the faster changing world. It act as a catalyst to improve your relations with each other. If we learn to appreciate others for their help or support, their victory no matter how small or large, promotions, on receiving rewards or helping others, it will create an everlasting impact on them. It brings in people attention on how you value them. It also helps you to communicate better without communication gap, to conduct a kind behavior, spreading encouragement, strength and longevity in your relations. A text or note, an email, verbal communication, rewards, award, recommendation all are part of appreciation.
When should we appreciate? This is very simple to understand when you have it display in your day-today life. Be quick and observatory. Appreciation is to show gratefulness not unfairness, balance not bias, truth not preference, thankfulness not negative discrimination, humbleness not pride. We often neglect small acts of gratitude of people and eye for bigger events of life to reflect it however appreciation (it) can be limitless. It will make you more kinder, generous, contented, joyful, respectable, likely, honest and highly connected.
Never ignore someone's effort (small or large) in your personal or work life. Be more expressive in showing your appreciation which reflects gratefulness of you as a human being and touch life of millions of people you encounter in your life. Start it with your family and friends and then go larger with your connectivity. Learn and inspire others by practicing appreciation. You will see how magnificently your world will transform into radiant and blessed life.
