The Leap Year Edition
SNP Communications
Searching the world for the good people, and helping them make their truth persuasive.
Sometimes we can get so caught up in our work and the pace of life that we don’t stop and appreciate what’s happening [around us]. And wouldn’t you know it, something magical is about to happen... It’s a Leap Year!?
That’s right, in 2024 we have a whole extra day in February to take chances, be bold, and do things we may normally shy away from. Ok, maybe Leap Day isn’t a real, recognized holiday, but it’s a great chance to look at where we are and where we might take a leap in our own lives. Are you trying to take a leap in your role and position? Are you feeling stuck and need to shake things up? What have you wanted to do that you’ve maybe been too nervous or timid to try?
This is the LEAP YEAR EDITION of OH?SN*P! This day only comes once every four years and we’re here to help you make the most of it. We’re going to dive into three distinct leaps you might find at work. A leap forward in your career.? A leap of faith into the unknown. And reinventing the game of leapfrog, where you’ll vault over static perspectives to put yourself in a new light.?

Is This Mic On?
Dear SNP,?
I’m feeling stuck in my current role and want to explore newer ponds, but I’m not sure what or how. I’m good at my job, but I’m not fully fulfilled. Other areas of the business seem exciting, I just worry about the risk. Should I stay in my org and try leapfrogging up the chain? Should I get out of my comfort zone and make a lateral leap? I’m at a crossroads and in need of some forward momentum.
Best,?

Starting a business
“A lot of people dream of starting their own business but don’t. They do their homework, study successful enterprises, watch videos, listen to podcasts, and devour the latest self-help books. All in the hope of finding the secret sauce and the courage to jump. The expectation is that the method, money, and moment will appear as an open door, and all they’ll have to do is jump in. No doubt that does happen . . . sometimes. But mostly, it doesn’t.”
It's not what we say, it's what we do.?-?Mo
"Why don't we dedicate the rest of 2024 to thinking about whatever fear we have for leaping forward…whether it's ourselves or how we interact or manage or take care of a team, how we take care of our customers….What can you do in a leapy kind of way that will influence one of those three things…It's not what we say, it's what we do."
