  • Zoom's Expansion in Saudi Arabia: Zoom plans to deeply integrate its services within the kingdom, introducing Zoom AI Companion, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Contact Centre, alongside new cloud regions, to enhance digital communication.
  • META and AI in Content Creation: META discussed the impact of AI on content creation, highlighting a shift towards AI-driven processes that promise productivity gains and immersive experiences.
  • UK-Saudi Research Collaboration: A landmark agreement between the UK and Saudi Arabia aims to foster research partnerships to address global challenges, underscoring the mutual benefits of such collaborations.
  • Saudi Arabia's Space Exploration Ambitions: The Saudi Space Agency (SSA) outlined plans for space exploration, including establishing a permanent presence on the Moon and missions to Mars.

Additionally, start-ups supported by Saudi Arabia’s National Technology Development Programme (NTDP) closed deals worth $750 million in 2023. The total investment accounted for more than 50% of all investment in Saudi Arabia for that year, creating over 7,300 new jobs and resulting in an economic impact of $1.45 billion.

The conference also introduced various specialised platforms and theaters hosting training courses and innovation sessions, with LEAP 2024 covering a wide range of topics including AI, sustainability, gaming, space, cybersecurity, and more. Notable speakers from across the globe, including representatives from Bolt, Nokia, Ericsson, and IBM, shared their insights, highlighting the conference’s status as a prmier platform for discourse in the tech community.
