Lean Into SharePoint and Prepare for Viva

Lean Into SharePoint and Prepare for Viva

As companies review their internal employee platforms and communications channels we've seen departments begin to notice how much their silos aren't so siloed, and that we do indeed need work in similar spaces. Taking a more holistic approach to how businesses communicate and engage employees can only bring positive outcomes for both the employee and the business. Not to mention that most companies aren't even using a fraction of the licenses they're paying for.?

So let's start with the basics - your SharePoint.... aaahhh...ooooohhhh you might be remarking. Well truth be told, we know it isn't a sexy topic and we've heard all the pains, but we've certainly seen the gains or else we wouldn't be in business! Over the last few months especially, we've seen the interest in Viva and desire to rollout increase significantly and it's because of factors like trust, sustainability and Copilot and employee experience being pushed to the top of the priority list.?

Our recommendation? Lean into SharePoint and prepare for the more fun and exciting integrations the Viva modules can bring to your organisation.

SharePoint Pains & Gains

Over the years we've become very close to SharePoint and with the help of our clients, we've been able to solve the restrictions and aggravations SharePoint brings to many a daily life. Microsoft is certainly listening and progressing its capabilities, but for the last two years, we've managed to save people time and hassle all through wonderful work by our team who've developed the solutions to get people to Work Happy.?

We've Solved:

Pain: SharePoint doesn't look like our company brand, so our portals and intranets look a bit bland.

Solution: Built-in design capabilities that enable your team to make wow-worthy pages in minutes. Think extended brand colours and fonts, as well as enhanced content web parts from rich media and third-party external links to extended galleries and image hotspots.?

Pain: Accessibility limitations

Solution: An on-hand accessibility checker and guide that shows employees how to use company branding to support all ways of working.

Pain: Repetitive tasks - repeat branding for every site page

Solution: One-click rollout to all pages once branding is set in the admin centre.?

IoIC Festival

As sponsors of the IoIC we attended the IoIC Festival this year. Great conversations and speakers, and thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ and entertainment on the first night. Our team, and special guests Norman and Nala, were onsite to talk about all things M365. If you managed to swing by and say hello - don't forget to plant your seed paper and watch those flowers grow!

Enjoy your Morning Cuppa,

Alex Graves, Chief Visionary Officer
