A Lean Transformation will not work at any company if the leadership isn’t properly trained. Leaders are the ones who make sustainment and continuous gains possible.
If they don’t understand the importance of the Lean Tools and their role, they not will properly support the systems and operation, or hold anyone accountable. Eventually, anything else will be more important.
Industrial Solutions’ Lean Green Belt is designed for management of all levels in mind, front-line supervisors to CEOs. These leaders might not always be running events, but it is important for them to be able to speak the Lean language and understand the concepts to fully support the Lean initiative. It is the perfect follow-on course after a Lean 101 or Lean Office class.
Over 4 days, it walks through the Lean Tools with an emphasis on culture change and leadership’s role in the process. Through case studies, breakout sessions, and hands-on exercises, the course has been designed to engage students and get them to practice the concepts in the classroom environment. Lean Green Belt covers the principles, tools and applications of 5S, VSM, Plant Layout, Training within Industry, Mistake Proofing, Kaizens, QCO, TPM, Cellular Flow, Pull Systems, Lean Performance Measures, Leadership Roles, Strategic Planning, Lean Program Deployment and cultural challenges.
This interactive and fun training course will invigorate leaders with a new understanding of their role in a Lean company.
The upcoming Lean Green Belt course dates are:
- August 24
- August 31
- September 7
- September 14

6 年If leaders are blockers, are they really leaders? Leadership is not about title it’s about guidance/mentorship. No matter your position in the company, lead.
“A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”
