1. Eat in order!
Eating your greens first will help you feel more satiated when tackling the rest of your plate, next hit the protein which will take a while to digest and further strengthen that feeling of fullness…now tackle the carbs, notice how much more satisfying that meal is!

Chew your food, don't just swallow it, this is mindful eating and will allow the brain to catch up with the belly as you take time to chew, notice how much quicker you feel satisfied!
3. Brush your teeth!
Brushing your teeth immediately after a meal will lead your brain to associate that the meal has ended, this signal will help to mute any cravings to go for a second helping!??
4. To much on the plate
It's so tempting to fill the whole plate and leave no gaps, give your self the illusion of a lot of food and a big portion through reducing your plate size, since the 70’s the average plate size has increased by 20%.?
By reducing the size of your serving? your brain will see a packed plate and assume its the same portions you use to eat.?
5. Never say NO!?
“You can not have that drink, piece of cake or takeaways”, if you didn't want it before you definitely do now.
This is because your brain can not process a negative command, it can only see you doing something it can not see you NOT doing it.

?If you tell you kids to NOT play by the stairs their mind will only see that scenario playing out…next second thats exactly where they are.?
It is the same situation with you and your willpower, you can only see yourself eating/ drinking what you told yourself you can not.?
Instead give your mind an alternative, " I can have" (insert healthier option here) or "I can do' (insert distraction here), your brain will then have something to imagine and distract its attention away from said temptation!?
