Well, this is The Leaducator, reformed. Reconstituted... for those educators to ever better be that?teacher who makes such a difference. It will be grounded in my own working one to one, and in small and larger groups ... with Entrepreneurs, Educators and Emerging Leaders who seek to unite and inspire... to more effectively respond to change… and constructively create it. It will be inspired by my experience with The Virtues Project and Personality Dimensions.

For this month, I invite you to check out this conversation with Christine Ayling on a perspective around recognizing teachable moments... and this conversation with Elaine Dunphy where we are exploring Joy and Zeal. Each about 30 minutes, the former looks at the 5 Strategies of The Virtues Project and centers in on this notion of exploring our teachable moments with the lens of Character. In any given situation of trial or triumph, we can look at what aspects of Character were present or not and build from there. Character is practiced... and ever more vital in times of change. We can do such with ourselves, and our students; learning around Character. We will no doubt explore this in further issues. The latter video highlights, among other things, the importance of exploring and laying claim to our own sources of Joy and Zeal; and helping others do the same. As I enter back into the physical classroom after two years online, I am looking to ever more coolly connect with my students by finding their own best motivation and tie my content and delivery somehow to that.

Have a listen, and ponder how the content of these conversations might serve your own self care and the care of those you lead in the classroom. In coming issues, we will explore more. As we head back to class, let us ever more explore how we take better care of ourselves and those whom we wish to somehow inspire.

Peace.
