Excerpt from LEADS ARE FOR NINJA
Everyone Wins: The Core Value of Business Success
At the heart of my business lies a fundamental truth: the essence of success is ensuring that EVERYONE WINS. This mantra isn't just a tagline; it's the foundational building block that shapes every leadership program, training module, and system platform I craft. In the tumultuous world of business ownership, marked by stress and chaos, this core value stands as a beacon, guiding us through the storms. It's a bold statement against the cutthroat norms - in my realm, victory is collective, not solitary.
If the concept of EVERYONE WINS is a challenge to comprehend, then let's start there in your training and business development strategy.
But, I digress. Let's get to why lead generation and marketing to the masses is a costly exercise in futility and failure.
In the sphere of marketing, especially for human skill-driven businesses such as insurance agencies, dental, law firms, and trades, with revenues under 15-40 million annually, high-cost strategies often miss the mark.
The Anatomy of an Effective Lead
How does this ethos translate to lead generation, you ask? Here's the crux: effective leads are born out of WHO YOU ARE. It's about the CONSISTENCY and SCOPE of your excellence and the essence of your professional being. In the whirlwind of running a business, qualities like curiosity, teamsmanship, and consistent pursuit of learning and excellence are non-negotiable. These aren't mere buzzwords; they are the oxygen of your business's survival. Remember, Victory in business is a collective effort; lone warriors seldom win any battle, let alone a war. As leaders rise, their strengths, paradoxically, can morph into vulnerabilities, susceptible to the simplest of foes. Hence, the need for continuous evolution in leadership is not just a recommendation; it's a survival strategy.
Ninja-Level Lead Generation: More Than Just Tools
In my costly and time-consuming journey through the realms of lead gen research, system development, and the integration of AI, email, phone, and tech for marketing, I've acquired what I call 'Ninja-level' capabilities. But here's a lesson etched in stone: NINJA TOOLS CAN AND WILL GET YOU KILLED IN BUSINESS IF YOU ARE NOT COMMITTED TO BEING NINJA. That means constantly learning, increasing emotional intelligence, and improving your tech stack. These tools, potent as they are, demand a wielder of equal caliber. It's a daily revelation for me – how these tools can amplify growth, transform cash flow, and accrue five-star reviews. Yet, the harsh truth remains – elite systems aren't for everyone. They're tailor-made for those who match their sophistication with experience, commitment, and a certain 'je ne sais quoi.'
The Elite System Fallacy: Not for Everyone
By their very nature, Elite systems are tailored for a select few, which is why they are labeled ELITE. This realization is a cornerstone of my philosophy when advising new or transitioning business coaches and consultants.

It's a simple but often overlooked fact: No elite system is designed for universal application. This is why throwing excessive funds at marketing and development systems can be futile, especially for new or transitioning business coaches.
However, for those with the time in grade, experience, and 'juice,' the results are nothing short of game-changing. Game-changing that is, until the new level becomes the daily norm. It then becomes time to raise the bar to a new baseline, evolve, and adapt to more sophisticated systems and approaches.
The focus should be on consistent foundational growth in multiple areas rather than an overreliance on elaborate marketing and development tools.
Very simply, THERE IS NO FINISH LINE!
The Experience-Amateur Paradox
Here's an intriguing paradox: the more experienced we become, the more we step into the realm of the amateur in new areas of growth. Every day, as I gain more experience, I embrace my amateur status at new levels. I have a saying that I use quite frequently: I am the newest FNG with 39 years of experience. I never think "I got this!" This journey, this constant dance between expertise and amateurism, is the way of the Ninja. It's about understanding and embracing the fluidity of our skill and knowledge.
The Perils of Misusing Elite Tools
Imagine handing over Navy SEAL equipment to a team of enthusiastic but untrained soldiers – the outcome is predictable and usually tragic. This analogy stands true for businesses bombarded with high-end tools and fancy marketing gimmicks. Without the right systems and mindset, these tools can lead to downfall, leaving you exhausted and burdened with cool gadgets but little substance.
Why I Choose Selective Sharing of My Lead Gen Platform
This discernment is why I don't openly sell my lead generation and development platform. Firstly, a lead is a human being. It is not someone to be harassed or belittled by selling their info off to someone who cannot lead them to victory as a coach or vendor or provide a product of the highest caliber and competitive pricing. A lead is only as good as a professional who can accomplish the mission that they advertise. My approach is tailored for those who understand and value the continuous journey of learning and evolution, akin to the training of a Ninja or a Navy SEAL Platoon.
These systems are priceless for those committed to building their skills and helping others continuously and useless and costly for the business owners who function in chaos, are uncoachable, or are poorly developed in emotional intelligence.
The Real Challenge: Evolving 'Us'
Doubling or tripling the size, scope, and earnings of a practice, firm, team, or business isn't a real challenge. I accomplish this mission with clients every year. So do many other professionals that I work with. The knowledge needed to create systems and processes of success is readily available in any airport bookstore, along with how to create the perfect body or the relationship of your dreams. The failing point and the true test lie in evolving 'US' – in our capacity to listen, hear, create, develop confidence, and implement with courage and awareness.
It is YOUR uniqueness as a business leader, a human being, and a learner that sets you apart. The journey of expertise constantly oscillates between being experienced and an amateur - a beautiful paradox of professional growth. Every new challenge faced as an amateur is a step towards greater mastery. Embracing this dichotomy is the essence of the Ninja way - a perpetual state of learning and adaptation.
This is the journey of true business mastery - a road less traveled but rich with rewards for those brave enough to embark upon it.
