Leading with Your Heart, Living 23 minutes from Red Rocks, Thank You TAB International

My oh my 8:22 a.m., I’ve not slept in this long since that time Uncle Hunter, and I did Vegas, yawn. I hope you woke up early; I hope you are hours ahead of me. Today, I took a little me time.
Why the heck did I stay up until after midnight? Well, we have these friends that came in from Indiana, we’ve known Jim and Terri for a few years, they joined us about 4:00 p.m., we headed to Red Rocks, tailgated, then caught our favorite mutual act Nathaniel Ratliff and the Night Sweats. If you are not familiar with this band, stop reading this nonsense and find them on YouTube, you will not be sorry.
We returned to our home, had a couple more drinks and I think we may have solved the world’s problems; I’ll find our notes later. Thus, the extended wake-up time.
Oh, but wait there is more, I got up at 4:30 a.m. yesterday, a little earlier than usual, I didn’t have time for my normal 20-minute nap, every minute was precious. I hosted a virtual meeting at 7:00 a.m., thus having my stylist do my man bun at 6:45 a.m. I connected with other beautiful humans before heading downtown and jumping on stage with three other business owners.
I was asked by TAB international to share my experience with their group. They had questions, we all spoke from our heart, it was a great panel, I was honored as were the other invitees, thank you TAB International for giving me a platform to share a few tales of my long history of growing a new market.
I left there, headed back to our condo; I connected with my Queen. I caught her up on my morning, and we talked about a couple things going on at our company. We were heading back towards our mountain home and stopped by a new client. We added another client to our family, a solid company, our team is putting their information in our machine, to begin showing them the love.
We ran another new appointment, met a potential new client, he has some pain, I think we can help him, but time will tell. We screamed up the mountain, dumped our stuff and waited on our friends to arrive. I did run another virtual meeting learning about some software that might benefit our firm.
Our friends arrived at about 4:00, we sat out on the deck, caught up on our lives before heading to Red Rocks. We always tailgate in the Upper South Lot, if you are ever at a show, find us, we are not hard to miss. I give about 100 tie-dye koozies away earning the name “koozie guy” at most of the shows we attend.
The experience at Red Rocks is like no other. If you have a bucket list, attending Red Rocks should be on your list. Even if you don’t like music, it’s a special place with a special frequency.
As Jim and I were sitting there waiting on the show, he told me, “you know what’s great about this place, they let the community use the facility. They use it daily for yoga, events, church on Sunday, Movies when there is not a concert; Red Rocks is by and for the community”.
Imagine if every event facility was run like Red Rocks. Imagine the sports field or concert venue in your town was open to the public to use for various events and opportunities. I think the public use of Red Rocks helps bring our community together, but our community is not local, it’s international. People come from all over the world to witness shows at our neighbors; it’s pretty fucking amazing, sorry Mom.
Well, it’s late, I must get going. We’re going to grab breakfast with our friends at D 25 down the hill before they head back home. I’ve got to get my T-shot today; I’m a day off, Mama does not like it when my Testosterone is low, she likes Anson on High T.
We will work until 5:00, then head downtown Denver to catch a gourmet meal and then see my friend Joe Rogan; we’re meeting some dear friends. If you are playing at home, our life is filled with amazing friends, events, food, drink, and laughter. That is the world we have built, and I encourage you to do the same. We didn’t always have this life; we created it through choices, behavior, and kindness. If your life is not what you want it to be, change your choices, change your behavior, and start being kinder to all humans, animals, and ghosts, yes, ghosts are real.
You are reading the words of a blessed man. I do not take my life for granted; I embrace and enjoy every moment of every day. Live with an appreciation for every breath, every minute, every person, every moment, of every single day. Lead with your heart, love all, and shine a light on the good and start a discussion on how to improve the ills of our society.
