In my current organization, we were part of a training called UNFOLD. In this we were asked to find our top voice and use the same to communicate. Also, we were asked to take character/personality test via https://viacharacter.org/ .

I got my top strength as Transcendence. When I reflect on my journey, from the the time, I truly started to unfold and started leading, I did find how and why my character strength came out as Transcendence. Here is how I did lead with transcendence, and in the middle management, where you get to manage both your team and your SLT.

Leadership is no longer just about guiding a team towards achieving organizational goals. It’s about elevating the individuals within the team, helping them to transcend their limitations and realize their full potential. This approach not only enhances individual performance but also drives collective success, fostering a culture of excellence that permeates the entire organization. But in order to truly succeed, leaders must also master the art of managing relationships with upper-level stakeholders—those who have a significant influence on the strategic direction and resources of the organization.?

Understanding Transcendence in Leadership?

Transcendence in leadership goes beyond traditional management techniques. It’s about creating an environment where individuals are inspired to grow personally and professionally, where they feel empowered to explore new possibilities, and where they are motivated by a sense of purpose that transcends their day-to-day tasks. Leaders who embrace this approach understand that their role is not just to manage but to uplift—to guide their team members to a higher state of awareness and capability.

How to Lead with Transcendence?
