Leading towards the new normal

Leading towards the new normal

A few days ago we had our annual Leadership Conference at NCC. Instead of having our leadership in one room, we had around 150 leaders behind their screens at home or in almost empty offices. It worked surprisingly well. We had well prepared presentations. There was lively discussion and debate in small and large groups. We have all become much better with our digital tools in the last few weeks.

But the most important thing was not to succeed digitally, it was to move our strategy process forward. It was to demonstrate that the future is there, and when we have now handled the most pressing needs in this new situation, we need to set our sight further away.

The construction sector in general is relatively well equipped to withstand the immediate effects of the corona crisis. Our projects are ongoing, we have to a large extent been able to adapt the way we work and work around the challenges. We are used to safety considerations and to solving problems.

But this situation is here to stay and together – in society, as business leaders and decision-makers – it is important that we lead the way in the new normal. That we keep projects moving forward. That we make efforts to meet with customers. That we provide solutions. That we give hope that there will be a new normal, where both as businesses and individuals are able to thrive and develop.

For me, yesterday was a very important day. We planned for the future. And the future is still there.

Thanks for a good conference?? Good job.

Bra jobbat! CO2-kontot l?ngre fram). M?jligheternas tid!
