Leading Scaling Agility with Human Intelligence - Attunement (Part 1 of 5)

Introduction:

Prashant and I met in 2009 while consulting at Winn Dixie (another great story about Leading Scaling Agility for another time)! He was on a mission to build a great legacy for his team, and his family at Reflexis Systems is now part of Zebra !

One late evening, after dinner, I had a great conversation with Prashanth Palakurthi about The New Humanism by David Brooks, and he educated and inspired me to see a deeper meaning in human intelligence.

Attunement:

He described the first talent of human intelligence as Attunement.

Attunement: the ability to enter other minds and learn what they have to offer.

As I reflect on my journey into understanding the challenge of Leading Scaling Agility with Human Intelligence, I can deeply appreciate the subtle power of Attunement. It will take a huge leap of faith for all of us to get better at being Humans with each other. One way to begin this leap of faith is by cultivating the talent of attunement.

The challenge of Leading Scaling Agility becomes more risky as we go deeper into the journey, and there is no better safety net for all of us than attunement.
