?Could you share about your journey at Amazon, and the details of your current role and responsibilities?

?My journey with Amazon began in 2020 as an Operations Team Lead at a Last Mile delivery station. Since then, I've navigated through various roles, from optimizing delivery operations to stabilizing post-COVID delivery experiences, achieving the lowest Cost per Shipment (CPS) in the South Zone. Recently, I was promoted to Manager 1, Area Manager at the Middle Mile sort center in Bengaluru.

?In my current role, I oversee safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance, crucial for enhancing Amazon's customer experience journey. This dynamic position requires adept skills in people management, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and strategic planning.

Can you share about the personal and professional growth you have witnessed in yourself?

Transitioning from a sales and retail background to Amazon's e-commerce supply chain operations has been a transformative journey for me. It's deepened my passion for supply chain management while enhancing my adaptability and attention to detail in a dynamic environment. Amazon's supportive culture has bolstered my confidence to tackle challenges head-on.

?Professionally, Amazon's extensive training opportunities have sharpened my technical skills, project management abilities, and cross-functional collaboration. These experiences have accelerated my career growth and instilled a proactive mindset of continual learning and innovation.

Could you describe a recent milestone or achievement at Amazon that you're proud of or found motivating?

One of my proudest achievements is my recent promotion to Area Manager. This role not only acknowledges my leadership skills but also allows me to leverage my understanding of Amazon's supply chain to drive strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency. The trust and confidence placed in me by Amazon and my leaders have been truly motivating.

Balancing work and personal life can be challenging. How do you manage it?

Balancing work and life is crucial. I rely on Amazon's supportive leave policies and regular manager check-ins to maintain that balance. These practices help me prioritize effectively, allowing time for personal pursuits like further education and hobbies such as traveling and art. Monthly manager meetings are particularly beneficial, providing a dedicated space to discuss goals, track progress, and address any challenges, ensuring both my professional responsibilities and personal well-being are well-managed.

What are your long-term goals, both professionally and personally, and what experiences inspire these aspirations?

Looking ahead, I aim to further my career in supply chain management and process standardization within Amazon. My goal is to drive efficiency, innovation, and continual improvement—values that resonate deeply with Amazon's culture.
