Leading with Purpose: Get to Know The Women At Soreto - Meet Hannah

At Soreto, we're all about gender equality. So, for International Women's Day 2024, we chatted with the awesome women on our team to hear what inspires them and what gender inclusion truly means to them.

Meet Hannah Dixon , Director of Partnerships at Soreto:

1. Hi Hannah, tell us a bit about yourself and what you do at Soreto?

With over 25 years of experience in the Sales industry, including 15 years within SaaS companies, I bring a wealth of expertise to my role as Director of Partnerships at Soreto. My role involves not only selling new business partnerships, but also nurturing existing ones. Beyond the office, I happily juggle the responsibilities of being a super mum to my five children while also claiming the title of a dance floor legend!

2. What is your proudest achievement whilst working at Soreto?

I've had numerous achievements that I take pride in. My greatest accomplishment is securing partnerships with renowned brands such as Puma, New Look, Samsung, Dyson, Love Honey, and Nike!

3. Which women inspire you the most?

Marie Curie's incredible work in science, from discovering radium and polonium to winning two Nobel Prizes, shattered gender barriers. Despite facing discrimination, her dedication to research and education paved the way for women in STEM. Her legacy reminds us of the power of perseverance and passion in achieving so much in the face of adversity.

Judy Singer rocked the neurodiversity scene! She coined the term and advocated for celebrating different cognitive styles rather than seeing them as disorders. As an autistic activist, she sparked a movement promoting inclusivity and acceptance. Her work paved the way for a more understanding society.

I also want to give an honourable mention to my daughter. It's amazing to watch her face challenges with such fearlessness instead of avoiding them. Seeing her navigate through obstacles with such determination fills me with pride every single day.

4. This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #InspireInclusion, what does this mean to you?

To me, #InspireInclusion means to celebrate diversity and empowerment. I make it a priority to instill in my children the importance of never allowing diversity to hold them back. I cherish my incredible daughter with ASD, whom I have empowered to know that her Autism is her superpower. Additionally, as a stepmother to a wonderfully unique non-binary teenager, we've encouraged them to embrace their identity proudly and let their true colours shine brightly!
