Leading the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne

Apppointed as Commander of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne, it is much more than an honour but also a fundamental duty to promote this illustrious organisation created in 1656 during the reign of Louis XIV, dedicated to valorising Champagne and all its diversity amongst discerning wine drinkers.

The Order is instrumental in preserving the exceptional character of our wines throughout the world and we pay tribute to those working to this purpose. We must maintain a meticulous and exacting approach in overseeing our original personality as the wine of the kings and its appealing features. Extolling the virtues of the Appellation and its prestigious image plays a crucial role in perpetuating the legend that is Champagne.

Outstanding tasting sessions, international rewarding inductions, upmost celebrations of the French art of living are the trilogy of a mission we accomplish with the help of locally based dedicated people.

Sincere gratitude to a generation of Commandeurs, Consuls and Dignitaries who activated this Order as volunteers for the sake of the Champagne fame.
