What is important to a "D" during a meeting?

• It’s important to a D that meetings are short & efficient.
• Have a concise agenda and end on time.
• Include tasks and assignments.
• Start on time with the first agenda item and skips pleasantries.
• Stay on topic/task. Keep up with the fast pace or you may seem incompetent.
• Be brief, be bright, be gone.

What to expect

• D's will like to delegate the work.
• D's move to action with limited discussion and make decisions, usually without a vote.
• Be aware of their goals so you can support them.
• Have potential solutions with consequences, and allow them to choose.
• It's fine to argue using facts, not feelings, but remember they like to win.
• Use "thinking/winning" words (e.g. ROI, analysis, profit, strategy).
