On June 4, MGI announced the opening of its new European headquarters in Berlin, Germany to support the life science community across the region.

- Setting New Records for High-altitude Operation of Sequencers
Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, has always symbolized a threshold for human beings to push their physical limits. In the life science industry, Mount Everest also bears witness to boundless breakthroughs made by explorers.
MGI recently set a new record for sequencing applications by successfully conducting sample testing on its advanced DNBSEQ-E25 and DNBSEQ-G99 platforms at Mount Everest. Despite the extreme conditions, both sequencers demonstrated exceptional performance, delivering high-quality, reliable, and stable data.
- Introduction of AgriHigh Low-pass WGS package for Molecular Breeding
At PAGAsia 2024, MGI unveiled a cutting-edge solution for large-scale Low-pass Whole Genome Sequencing in agriculture, the revolutionary "AgriHigh Low-pass WGS package".
