Leading Equitably in a Critical Election

One of the things many of my clients struggle with when practicing applying an equity lens to their leadership is really understanding just how much inequity persists in the everyday things we don't think about. Like Voting.

We're days away from a #CriticalElection. This is a big deal. Acknowledging this reality and planning for its impact on people's ability to optimally function at work is the difference between just leading, and #LeadingEquitably.

It really is a way of life.

I've curated 5 easy-lifts leaders can practice this week.

I hope you all have the opportunity to vote, volunteer, rest and care for yourselves confidently and safely this week.

Great points - especially the grace for ourselves and others, with deadlines and deliverables. Thank you for such an important reminder of how to conduct ourselves with compassion and grace during these perilous times. You are a gem!
