Leading with Emotions

Leading with Emotions

There has been a lot of debate on emotions (or 'affect'). While the traditional approach has been to keep emotions away from management processes, the recent literature calls for recognising emotions as a powerful lever for leadership, as well as for transformation.

I made this slide deck for a webinar for NHRD on 25th April- exploring the science behind emotions, emotional intelligence, and various emotion management actions, for self and for others. Clearly, getting the right emotions in your teams will be the key to achieving your transformation goals!

Happy to hear your views.

Dear Krish, Well articulated with a good frame work. If any job has to move from transaction to transformational emotions play a very critical role.
