Texas recently hit a major milestone. Newly released U.S. Census Bureau data indicates that?Hispanic residents now make up more of Texas’ population than white residents. For more than 50 years, San Antonio has set the pace demographically for what the future of the state and nation will look like. Our majority-minority makeup is woven into the fabric of our?culture?and what makes us an ideal location for all to thrive.
The generational influence of Hispanic migration and a continued steady stream of new immigrants to San Antonio has created a booming and unique business?culture. This explains why San Antonio is among the?leading?U.S. cities for almost every growth metric, including?population growth,?job growth?and?salary growth. Hispanics are a strong and critical contributor to the Texas economy,?with?$162.4 billion in spending power.
In 2021, San Antonio had the highest numerical population growth in the entire U.S. People WANT to live in San Antonio. Businesses NEED to be where the talent lives.? By 2030, SATX will add another 500,000 residents - 67% of whom will be Hispanic.?
