Leading Authorize.Net

I am excited to share that I have recently accepted the role as Head of Authorize.Net at Visa.

For background, Authorize.Net was founded in 1996 and was one of the original online payment platforms. Today we proudly support 430,000+ merchants, small businesses and non-profit organizations. Over 1 billion transactions and $149 billion in payment volume are processed each year on our platform. I was fortunate to start my career with Authorize.Net in 2007 and learn from many of the early team members. CyberSource acquired Authorize.Net the month I started; Visa later acquired both CyberSource and Authorize.Net in 2010.

My Authorize.Net career has taken me across all aspects of our business in cities all around the world and has allowed me to tackle a variety of opportunities and challenges. I started with Authorize.Net a year out of college in an entry-level sales role. I then had a great opportunity to lead our business development and partner teams during a time of massive innovation in the ecommerce space. During these years, I had the privilege of working with many of the early ecommerce platforms that continue to drive innovation today.

In 2012, my family and I embarked on a 2-year journey in England to launch Authorize.Net in the UK and Europe. It was a highlight of my career as well as for our family—we even welcomed a new baby abroad!

For the past few years, I have been leading our direct sales and customer success teams. 

I have had great mentors along the way. Great leaders like John Bodine, Jeff Hunsaker and Michele Herron have taught me how to be a leader, tackle hard decisions and deliver results.
