An organization's core values reflect identity, mission, and vision, providing a shared sense of purpose and direction for everyone in the organization. However, simply having a set of core values is not enough. For these values to be meaningful, they must be embraced and lived by every employee. It is critical that leadership actively promotes and models these values, so they can inspire every employee to understand and embrace them.
In this newsletter, we will explore the various ways in which leadership can bring employees together around their organization's core values. These include the role of leaders in modeling and reinforcing values, the importance of communication and transparency, the necessity of providing clear direction and feedback, as well as the strategies for building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This edition features insights from brilliant minds including Gino Wickman , Deb Cupp , Jacob Morgan , Simon Sinek , Stephen M. R. Covey , John C. Maxwell , Martin G. Moore , Roger Martin , and more.
"Great businesses have what I'm calling soul... I've been teaching for ten years, two concepts, core values and core focus. And it recently just hit me that it's the combination of those two things. That is what makes up a business soul." - Gino Wickman
