Leadership vs. Unleadership
Sometimes I wonder why finding good leaders is so rare. BEing a great leader isn't really that hard. Yes, it requires care, intelligence, commercial nous, storytelling skills, courage, conviction and integrity - among other things. But in essence, if your leadership is about supporting and enabling others to succeed, you are headed in the right direction.
Unleadership is value destroying. It demotivates people, fails to tap into their skills and ideas, holds people back from growing and contributing more, breeding resentment and disillusion.
I have had good and bad experiences over time, sometimes working with great leaders and at other times enduring their alter-ego - unleaders. Take this quick 2 minute, anonymous quiz to share your experience. I will post the results back here in a week or two.

6 年Interesting survey Steve. A true leader for me is one who is ready to learn, unlearn and re-learn always. One who can inspire- what may come, go get it and if the associate falters, he/she should always be there to cover and not engage in a blame game. A leader is always as good as his team.
