When defining leadership one must first show how is it different from management. Some of the differences between leadership and management are:
Leadership:
- Sets direction
- Align people
- Mentor and inspire
Management:
- Plan and budget
- Organize and stuff
- Control & sale
When one has finally grasped the difference between the two. The next step is to understand and adopt the modern style of leadership which is "Servant Leadership". Being a leader that constantly ask himself/herself "How can I make the life of those I lead easy, enjoyable and worthwhile"
