Leadership, Vision, and Collaboration in the Kellogg DFW Alumni Club

“Success is not just about what you know; it’s about who you know and how you collaborate with them." – Unknown source

I’m honored to join the Kellogg DFW Alumni Club Board of Directors and contribute to this vibrant community of leaders and visionaries. As we navigate an era of accelerated technological transformation, where Generative AI, MOOCs, YouTube, LinkedIn Learning, and other platforms democratize access to knowledge, the real challenge isn’t just acquiring information—it’s translating that knowledge into actionable wisdom.

In today’s dynamic world, success is not just about knowing what to do but understanding how to execute with precision and insight. While there are countless books and courses we observe a gap in communicating the nuances, context, and real-world intricacies needed to thrive in today's fast-changing environments. This is where a network of peers is invaluable. The power of having trusted connections who share personal experiences, lessons learned, and key insights can make all the difference. ?It’s not just about the now, it’s about having foresight to drive into the future.

The Kellogg DFW Alumni Club differentiates from conferences, courses, articles and a vast array of networking groups by being a truly unique community—an all-in-one network that embodies the Kellogg spirit of community and collaboration. This group of leaders, who “bleed Purple,” is deeply committed to professional development, lifelong learning, networking, and giving back to the community.

Having recently joined the Kellogg DFW Alumni Club, it feels like tapping into a new level of energy, vision, and collaboration. The synergy among current and future CIOs, CDOs, CPOs, CMOs, CFOs, and other executive leaders is inspiring. At our recent 2025 strategy planning meeting, I was struck by the genuine warmth, inclusivity, and shared commitment of the leadership and members. Special thanks to Michelle Rider, Jeff King and Sanjay Kumar for extending such a warm welcome and making me feel a part of this incredible team.

I encourage all Kellogg alumni in the DFW area to get involved with the Kellogg DFW Alumni Club. This is more than just a networking opportunity—it’s a platform to shape the future, exchange ideas, and grow alongside a powerhouse of leaders. Together, we can create new opportunities, elevate careers, and continue the legacy of excellence that defines Kellogg.

Let’s work together to convert knowledge into wisdom, vision into action, and connections into lasting impact!
