LEADERSHIP ON A TIGHTROPE

WHAT KIND OF LEADER ARE YOU?

What kind of leader am I? Am I the kind who confidently walks on the tightrope of business, gracefully balancing the demands and expectations of my team and stakeholders? Just like a skilled performer in a circus, I navigate the challenges and complexities of leadership with a style that fits both men and women.?I am the leader who dons red high heels, leaving a lasting impression as I confidently tread the tightrope of business.

As a leader, I understand the importance of knowing my audience and tailoring my approach accordingly. Whether I find myself in a boardroom or a private office, surrounded by men and women, I am mindful of the purpose of the meeting and how I can contribute effectively. I approach each interaction with professionalism, attentiveness, and a willingness to listen. Like a tightrope walker who maintains focus amidst distractions, I remain transparent, sensitive, and honest in my dealings with the diverse personalities around me.

While some may question my alliances or expect me to advocate for them based on gender, I prioritize fairness and truth. I don't blindly support anyone but stand up for those who have been wrongfully accused, irrespective of their gender. I willingly take responsibility for my own actions and help anyone who needs it, regardless of whether they are male or female. Just like a caring ringleader who ensures the safety and well-being of all performers, I extend a helping hand to those in need.

In my leadership journey (which started at age 14) I drew inspiration from the concept of the tightrope. This word evokes a sense of balance, skill, and precision required to excel in the business world. It reminds me of the rich history of tightrope walking, an art form rooted in ancient civilizations that captivated audiences with its displays of balance and agility. Similarly, as a leader, I strive to maintain stability and control while navigating the challenges and risks that come my way.

Among the various leadership styles, my admiration lies with the Silent Leaders. These leaders exemplify qualities such as compassion, understanding, openness, and approachability. They earn the respect and loyalty of their team through their actions and character rather than relying on force or authority. While I acknowledge the merits of this leadership style, I also recognize that my own leadership style may differ. I embrace my unique approach, knowing that effective leadership can take many forms.

So, what kind of leader am I? I am a confident tightrope walker, trying every day to reach the demands of my role. I am the leader who wears red high heels, leaving an impression as I navigate the intricacies of the business world. I embrace my own leadership style, continuously growing and evolving as I inspire and motivate others on their own tightrope walks of success.
