Leadership & Self-Awareness
Jonathan Brewer
ICF ACC Certified Coach | Business & Strategy Development | Portfolio & Change Management
My leadership journey has been an amazing one filled with challenges a plenty. Amidst those challenges, the key factor has been me. To be honest, its not so much been the challenges as the readiness of me to lead authentically from my true self.
Understanding who I am, learning how others see me and recognising my own core values has been integral to building a better self-awareness.
Self-awareness, in turn, has become the cornerstone of discovering more and learning to lead from my true authentic self.
Over the next 5 days I’ll share some tips that I lean on, to help me on my continuous journey to being a better leader, to explore and learn. Some are newer to me, and some are old, trusted partners.
1. Mindful Observation
2. Feedback
3. Values
4. Journaling
5. Active Listening
Have a read each day…. reflect on each one…. and use what makes sense, makes you smile, and makes for a better day. Then, at the end, you might feel motivated to create a development plan with what you’ve learnt about yourself. Why not?
Take care,
Jon
